GENGHIS VISITS BESHBELIK!
Beshbelik(Gobi Press) In a surprise visit, newly crowned Khan, Genghis the First, visited a new daycare centre opened by the new Mongol government of Gobi Province (formerly Kara Khitai). In a move clearly designed to squelch unfounded rumours that the Mongols are ruthless conquerors, Genghis spent nearly an hour with the children, telling stories and making fudge, before returning to Karakorum. |
China Post:
The Chin empire has been saded today with the loss of its great leader. The emperor had been ill for several months and the invasion of the empire by the Mongols was all his heart could bear.
The emperor died at the age of 167 years.
In other news the new emperor was crowned in the palace of the late emperor. The new emperor Civfan, son of the late emperor made a small speech to the government of the empire.
"I have grave news, the city of BESHBELIK was taken by the Mongols. Its strategic importants as a prostitute capital will be missed but no worries I have securried new ladies from the land of the Sung empire for our troops on the frontiers. I have created new military units and will begin laying seige to several important posts of the Mongols."
In news of the frontiers, we have confirmed that several soldiers perished in an attack against the Mongols near Dading. Several Mongol units perished and it could be the first victory for emperor Civfan. People cheered of the news but its the beginning of a long road to destruction of the Mongols.

The market places are crowded today, as new reports about the Mongols reach India.
Vishnurama Harekrishna, the famed Indian explorer and author of the most reliable history ever written, has published a new article on his encounter with the Mongols that is soon to appear in the popular magazine New Maharaja. An excerpt reads:
quote: Dining with a Mongol
By Vishnurama Harekrishna
(...) While walking through a city named Beshbelik by it's citizens, I found a building surrounded by Mongol guards* and a ruthlessly slaughtered crowd that was apparently trying to storm the building.
After asking one of the guards, what this building was supposed to be, he answered "it is the new daycare centre for children opened by our great Khan, Genghis."
It appeared a bit strange to me, because Mongol daycare centres appear to vary drastically from our Indian ones- while ours are situated in the beautiful countryside surrounded by playgrounds and green parks, the Mongol one was a huge dark building with only a few (barred) windows. Screams of children, that, in other circumstances I would have interpreted as screams of pain, were coming out of each of them.
Then I heard a loud voice, and the guards were bowing down. I persumed that this was the voice of Genghis Khan. My little knowledge of the Mongol language allowed me to make out some words like "head", "parents", "pike", "blood", "kill", and "enjoy".
I didn't want to hear more, so I ran away.
On the town square, I met a friendly Mongol who invited me for dinner. I hesitated a bit because I didn't feel much of an appetite after seeing the fins on his back and his lizard tongue, but I was keen on seeing what the Mongols ate for dinner, so I swallowed and followed him.
It is absolutely untrue that the Mongols will eat anybody/anything. Their food is well chosen, and they eat only the finest Siberians. Apparently, they know of certain towns in Siberia where tasteful people will grow. They also sometimes eat Chinese, but this is more of a delicatesse to them. They will definately not eat something like a Kara-Khitai.
While dining, the Mongol told me the latest joke from his home. It went like this:
"Why do Kara Khitai always sit so uncomfortably?"
"I don't know," I replied.
"Because they have only three buttockses!"
I pretended to have understood the joke, and laughed nearly as hard as he did.
The evening ended with a nice drink which I persume to be dragon blood. It was very tasteful, and I recommend it to anyone here.
*The way Mongols are commonly described in India are only partially true. While it is true that they have certain resemblance to horses, the claim that they are half man, half horse is a bit oversimplyfied. I have also yet to see one who spits fire or is actually courageous. Furthermore, let me remark here, that those Mongols I spoke to all lacked a nose and had only one eye.

December 15, 1213 AD.
A messenger rushes to the imperial palace. Emperor Civfan, we have grave news.
"What is it?"
Theres been an attack in the west. The Khwarezmians dogs have attacked us. They have allied with the Mongols!
"This is not good news for us. I'll have to deploy some troops to this region."
December 30, 1213 AD.
A soldier on horseback arrives at the imperial palace. Exausted and tired, he collapses off his horse. A servant to the palace rushes the Imperial Gaurds to this soldier.
As they pick him off the marble floor of the palace, a message with the imperial seal falls out of his hand. The servant bows to the imperial crust on the message. Knowing his role he rushes for an Messanger of Imperial Authority, knowing to well if he to touch it he would be executed. As he arrives with the Imperial Messanger, the servant thanks god for this day in life and then continues his duties to the palace. The Imperial messager takes the message to the emperor.
"Emperor Civfan, an Imperial Message is sent to you. "
"Read it" said the emperor.
The Imperial messager opens the message seal and begins reading the message.
" My brother, father and holy ghost will guide me to the heavens this fateful night for as I am about to imbark on a new journey I like to leave a message for my dear cousin, Emperor Civfan of the Chin.
Your troubles as leader of these people will always shine on you but dont surrender to your troubles. Remember your strengths, your powers and your love. I am here on my voyage of discover but evil deads have been caste upon my journey. I am in the city of Tashkent and its gates are closed. Noone can leave, not even the cousin of the emperor of the Chin. The troops are on watch as barbarian Khwarezmians have surronding the city. I write this message to you now as we all know whats to happen. Our city has been struck with a deadly plague. Thousands are dying and most of the troops have been stricken with this plague as well as I. Don't fear for me as I have some servants to look after my body. I fear the time is short of the essence. I can see from the city gates, the barbarians have now entered the city.
My life has been full and I'll always remember the days at the palace. Live long my cousin.
Your cousin,
Sernius
"This is outrages" Yells the emperor.
January 1 , 1213 AD
A diplomat arrives at the imperial palace.
Its from the Khwarezmians.
The diplomat brings his message
"We have a deal for you. We will make peace, but for profit."
"Blackmail, profit. You want pay, heres your pay!" The Emperor swings a huge sword and cuts the diplomat in half.
