yes the old civilization board game is quite different from the computer series, it all takes place during the ancient era, no techs, very few units, and very different gameplay (which takes more than a few re-reads of the manual IIRC)

hmm...
I'm a big fan of risk... I wonder how you play this board game.... can't have any of hte city improvements n workers... or can they? they they do.. damn me but I think they should provide a palm pc to remember everything...
