	Should we stop the census-polls? Support Apolyton, pre-order Civilization IV

A simple question. I will call this poll every month.
If the census is no longer wanted/needed, i will stop immediately.

3 Options to choose from: Yes, No, Abstain

3 days running time.

If at any time a citizen thinks the census is no longer needed or wanted, feel free to post this poll on your own. If accepted, i will comply.

Although the results of the poll are bound to be inaccurate, I don't see the point of getting rid of them. They do allow us to have a rough estimate of the participation in the game, which is useful. As long as people interested in the game are willing to take the 2 seconds required to vote, the poll is fairly useful.

Abstain (but not by clicking). I think they should last longer, like 2 weeks or a month. It's pretty boring to vote in the same old census every week.

It depends on what other methods you have in mind (like the re-registration idea). If someone puts that on the table, I may pick, but for now I haven't voted.

Censuses (censii?) are fine. It's those pesky election threads you've gotta watch out for . . . If you vote randomly you might find yourself being governed by The Banana.

IMHO, and if the aim of the census is to measure the citizens' activity and its evolution, I would like a method based on facts rather than declarations, that is :

- every citizen duly registered (once and for all) visiting the Demo Forum is active, and could hopefully be automatically counted ;

To appreciate the degree of activity, we just have to count :
- the votes to all kinds of polls
- the posts

Everything on a weekly, or preferably on a monthly basis.

Just my 2 cents !

For two weeks, I have journeyed the depths of the Notylopa and upon my return these are my first words:

Census polls are useless.
Obviously, if people are no longer active and voting, then they will not come here and vote in a poll that they are not doing what they just did. (did that make any sense?)
