	Reasons to be single Increase Your PM Length

Good points about not having a significant other:

1. You won't get bossed around
2. You can do what you want
3. You don't have to worry about hurting the other person's feelings.
4. No nagging arguments
5. You only have to care and look out for yourself
6.Your free and independant


Thats what I come up with, I'm sure you all can think of more.

Except for the first item, you can do the rest with an SO. Even working on vehicles, if you find the right person.

Somethings are better done with an SO than alone. Other than surfing the Web, most items on your list fall in that category.

The best reason is protecting your property from would-be leeches and gold-diggers, and if you are suspicious of a potential spouse in that way, why would you want to even be with them anyway?

If there aren't kids involved, stay single -- it's easier. If you do have kids, get married -- it's easier on your kids. Pretty easy.

No you can't; the operative words there are "you want", which is distinctly not the case when have a SO -- unless you don't give a damn about how she feels.

I'm married and can tell you that 21-23 and 26 are inapplicable. As for 24, its a two way street as the burden of such chores gets split two ways.

In my mind there is really only 2 good reasons to be single

either

1. you have yet to encounter that special person with whom you wish to have a deep emotional and physical connection that surpasses all others

2. you do not yet either wish to or feel ready to make such a commitment. This category includes

- loners who value independence over companionship
- experimenters who wish to play the field
- rebounders still nurturing hurt from the last relationship

Being single can be fabulous . . . I really enjoyed my time as an experimenter . . . but it does not compare to a great relationship
