The strangest thing about England that I have noticed is the bizarre gender roles thing. So many Englishmen are effeminate (sp?), while many Englishwomen are hateful, psychotic and downright mean. Is the fact that so many Englishwomen are ugly a contributing factor? Do they have to turn up the wierdness knob in order to make their men erect enough to "do their duty" and produce the next generation of that venerable race?

you know, i have to say, i like british comedies.

fawlty towers was a classic, but i've taken quite a liking to black adder, 2.4 children, and chef... although i like old chef better than these new episodes.
