At this stage, he's still competing.

In the event that he does pull out, I think the only democratic option is a by-election. There are two other candidates, so a second election would be feasible.

Hmmmm......judging from the times votes have come in, I think it's safe to say that the majority of votes put in have either been from CDC members, or by Independants. It'll be interesting to see what happens when the ACE voting block comes in and puts in their say.

Well I joined this party to be around people who share the same goals as I do. So the people we support obvioulsy have the same goals so I would have voted for them anyway. Just defending myself so don't go psychaotic on me. [I've learned my lesson from the Pandemoniak ordeal.]

As for party policy, how about ideas for recruitment drives (Branch stacking non-withstanding, a lot of independants seem to be supporting us. Perhaps we can get them to join us on a more formal basis.) and last minute-campaigning.

Alright, so they're not really policy issues, but they need to be dealt with. ^^;

It would seem that either there's been a split in the ACE vote, or a small number of independants have voted CDC. While one would hope not the former, it's more than a little worrying, especially when some of the things proposed by our opponents violate all the basics of SP turn advantage. (Haven't the CDC even read Vel's guide? Xx; )

Congrats TKG, who got in dispite the ACE no-show.

As for all the rest of us...where did the common sense of the forum go? =/ To be fair, I don't think many independants voted for CDC, but all those left wing loonies in the CDC unfortunatly all showed up to vote for their equally loony canditates (Have these guys no concept of turn advantage? Xx; ).

Turn advantage is apparently a concept unknown to idealists. We'll have to continue being the party to combine reasonable social justice and equal opportunities with realism and strong economical growth.

Q to P4 members: will we consider other election alliances in the future or will be an absolute independent party from now on?
