I can't believe you guys didn't played this session. I secured reliable and competent sub and you refused? Why? I mean why the hell you even discuss my decission? It's MY responsibility to find a sub and it's certainly none of your business who will that be.

Saturday is a bad call anyway because I do most of my socialising this very day and some of them could popup unexpected like this one so more subs are going to happen sooner or later.

Get it right. I had an engagement too... but against my wifes wishes I HAD said that I was booked online... then you bailed out. I THEN decided to go ahead with my family engagement. If it's OK for you it's OK for me. Understand? Or do I need to say it again? cheeez...
I was looking forward to playing you smartfart. It's going to be a real pain if you can't regularly make this slot. You gave me the impression you could I thought?

Now, quite APART from this I have a VIEW that using subs causes games to go off course - plenty of examples of this. But as I said I WOULD play with subs rather than not play at all. Got it yet? oh dear...

Now, another VIEW I have is that there are players who set up cosy arrangements in non alliance games. I detest this and avoid it for myself in most cases. But as War4 once said it's impossible to stop - just like the tech stealing deal. It's so easy to slip in to and leads to de-facto alliances.

I really love genuine role playing politically manipulative games that are not aligned with online friendships or grudges.

I've played tons of 7 players game on huge maps (please don't say this is 6 player large map game) and not a single one is played every session with same players. Subs are regular parts of the game.

Now,I wasn't out with my wife watching Man in Black 2 or similar crap.
My close friend had a wedding. I not only had to be there. I wanted to be there. Now you're accusing me for unreliability.
OK. I could live with that.

If unreliable means notify starter of the game 36 hours in advance,secure a substitute who shows up in time,then I am probably one.

If you personally don't like Markus,thats fine. But this is my spot and I can ask whoever I bloody want to sub for me. If you don't want any interaction between you two check ignore button on chat screen.

From the very start of the game ALL the whining and complains comes from the same person. Does that tell you something?

I think we need to look at another day, and another game.....this saturday has too many surprises, not to mention deity's fried modem, my 17" monitor started blinking out, and I had to get a new one......fate had planned no civ game for that night.
