Schism -- I love that song blackice, Good choice.

* Asher happily sits on his Tool concert tickets.

It's amazing Tool is coming to perform to such an uncultured city, and perhaps more amazing that this uncultured city sold out the Saddledome in hours to see them.

Interesting while some fvck was doing his I am an idiot and can not drive on the QEW today. Many drivers were doing the finger, horn, scream, you name it. They were not driving just looking for revenge, relief. Me timming is life I say and this is a classic call me Psyco . I was listening to Tool this song

I was the only one grinning, call me happy

Jerk-Off

Someone told me once
that there's a right and wrong,
and that punishment
would come to those
who dare to cross the line.

But it must not be true
for jerk-offs like you.
Maybe it takes longer to catch a total a$shole.
but I'm tired of waiting.
Maybe it's just bull$hit and I should play GOD,
and shoot you myself.*
Because I'm tired of waiting.

Consequences dictate
our course of action
and it doesn't matter what's right.
It's only wrong if you get caught.
If consequences dictate
my course of action
I should play GOD
and shoot you myself.*
I'm very tired of waiting.

I should
kick you,
beat you,
fvck you,
and then shoot you in your fvcking head.*

Oh you young punkers. Stop jacking this thread!

FOUR STRONG WINDS
(Ian Tyson)

Four strong winds that blow lonely
Seven seas that run high
All those things that don't change
Come what may
But our good times are all gone
And I'm bound for movin' on
I'll look for you if I'm ever back this way

Think I'll go down to Alberta
Where there's good times in the fall
I've got some friends that I can stay with workin' for
But I wish you'd change your mind
If I ask you one more time
But we've been through that a hundred times or more

------ guitar solo -------

If I get there before the snow flies
And if things are lookin' good
I could meet you if I sent you down the fare
But by then it would be winter
There ain't too much for you to do
And those winds sure can blow cold way out there

Four strong winds that blow lonely
Seven seas that run high
All those things that don't change
Come what may
But our good times are all gone
And I'm bound for movin' on
I'll look for you if I'm ever back this way

Ain't had no loving

Where'd you stay last night?
Come home this morning,

Got spare money?

Seriously most of my friends out thier range from 24 to 80.

One of my best friends here, I call her that now. She and I have a good friendship is turning 100 in November.

I took her Harris's office last year so she could give him a piece of her mind, She did and it made the papers

If I have half the fvcking brains she has now I will consider myself very lucky.

She had published last year a 500 page childrens book,

A brain so are the 5, 8, 20, 16, and every age in between people I know.

That is why I say to Taki, not yet my friend but it is comming. The next revolution of change, soon in our life time. Grin when you see it cuz they are us

This guy couldn't hack it...

The Alberta Homesteader
(Tune: The Irish Washerwoman)
My name is Dan Gold, an old bachelor I am
I'm keeping old batch on an elegant plan
You'll find me out here on Alberta's bush plain
A-starving to death on a government claim.

So come to Alberta, there's room for you all
Where the wind never ceases and the rain always falls
Where the sun always sets and there it remains
Till we get frozen out on our government claims.

My house it is built of the natural soil
My walls are erected according to Hoyle
My roof has no pitch, it is level and plain
And I always get wet when it happens to rain.

My clothes are all ragged, my language is rough
My bread is case-hardened and solid and tough
My dishes are scattered all over the room
My floor gets afraid at the sight of a broom.

How happy I feel when I roll into bed
The rattlesnake rattles a tune in my head
The little mosquito devoid of all fear
Crawls over my face and into my ear.

The little bedbug so cheerful and bright
It keeps me up laughing two-thirds of the night
And the smart little flea with tacks in his toes
Crawls up through my whiskers and tickles my nose.

You may try to raise wheat, you may try to raise rye
You may stay there and live, you may stay there and die
But as for myself, I'll no longer remain
A-starving to death on a government claim.

So farewell to Alberta, farewell to the west
It's backwards I'll go to the girl I love best
I'll go back to the east and get me a wife
And never eat cornbread the rest of my life.

It doesn't matter
I've got a library
I've got a swimmimg pool
I drive the Lamborghini
Dad drives the Cadillac
Mom's got an MG
I don't have a job
I don't go to school
I just sit at home
I don't have to worry
They have lots of money
They won't let me starve
In 1967 things weren't this good
My daddy was a hippie
Now he's a head of state
I don't have no peers
I don't know no queers
It doesn't bother me
I don't get in fights
When I go out at night
Coz my chauffeur is a killer
I don't have to look
When i want a fvckI just spend some money
I get more allowance
Than you fvcking middle class bums will ever see.

This is for Asher and me I hope you have the humor

Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

A serious piece of Candiana...

Gordon Lightfoot

The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down
of the big lake they called "Gitche Gumee."
The lake, it is said, never gives up her dead
when the skies of November turn gloomy.
With a load of iron ore twenty-six thousand tons more
than the Edmund Fitzgerald weighed empty,
that good ship and true was a bone to be chewed
when the "Gales of November" came early.

The ship was the pride of the American side
coming back from some mill in Wisconsin.
As the big freighters go, it was bigger than most
with a crew and good captain well seasoned,
concluding some terms with a couple of steel firms
when they left fully loaded for Cleveland.
And later that night when the ship's bell rang,
could it be the north wind they'd been feelin'?

The wind in the wires made a tattle-tale sound
and a wave broke over the railing.
And ev'ry man knew, as the captain did too
'twas the witch of November come stealin'.
The dawn came late and the breakfast had to wait
when the Gales of November came slashin'.
When afternoon came it was freezin' rain
in the face of a hurricane west wind.

When suppertime came the old cook came on deck sayin'.
"Fellas, it's too rough t'feed ya."
At seven P.M. a main hatchway caved in; he said,
"Fellas, it's bin good t'know ya!"
The captain wired in he had water comin' in
and the good ship and crew was in peril.
And later that night when 'is lights went outta sight
came the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.

Does any one know where the love of God goes
when the waves turn the minutes to hours?
The searchers all say they'd have made Whitefish Bay
if they'd put fifteen more miles behind 'er.
They might have split up or they might have capsized;
they may have broke deep and took water.
And all that remains is the faces and the names
of the wives and the sons and the daughters.

Lake Huron rolls, Superior sings
in the rooms of her ice-water mansion.
Old Michigan steams like a young man's dreams;
the islands and bays are for sportsmen.
And farther below Lake Ontario
takes in what Lake Erie can send her,
And the iron boats go as the mariners all know
with the Gales of November remembered.

In a musty old hall in Detroit they prayed,
in the "Maritime Sailors' Cathedral."
The church bell chimed 'til it rang twenty-nine times
for each man on the Edmund Fitzgerald.
The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down
of the big lake they call "Gitche Gumee."
"Superior," they said, "never gives up her dead
when the gales of November come early!"

Center on the wide horizon
Focus on the galaxy
Sweep away your expectations
And recognise your enemies

But here you're talking to yourself
You're stripping off for someone else
You've got to learn to love yourself
It's all that counts, there's little else

You're always looking for affection
And all it's possibilities
Your sense is searching for attention,
Emerging need of gravity

I think you think you're someone else
You've got to learn to save yourself
Before you find there's nothing left
But bitterness and holiness
And afterglow
And afterglow

For those that have no clue

Steely Dan
Can't Buy a Thrill (1972)
Reelin' In The Years

Your everlasting summer
You can see it fading fast
So you grab a piece of something
That you think is gonna last
You wouldn't know a diamond
If you held it in your hand
The things you think are precious
I can't understand

CHORUS:
Are you reelin' in the years
Stowin' away the time
Are you gatherin' up the tears
Have you had enough of mine

You been tellin' me you're a genius
Since you were seventeen
In all the time I've known you
I still don't know what you mean
The weekend at the college
Didn't turn out like you planned
The things that pass for knowledge
I can't understand

CHORUS

I spend a lot of money
And I spent a lot of time
The trip we made in Hollywood
Is etched upon my mind
After all the things we've done and seen
You find another man
The things you think are useless
I can't understand

CHORUS

There you go NYE

JIMI HENDRIX LYRICS

"Crosstown Traffic"

You jump in front of my car when you,
you know all the time
Ninty miles an hour, girl, is the speed I drive
You tell me it's alright, you don't mind a little pain
You say you just want me to take you for a drive

You're just like crosstown traffic
So hard to get through to you
Crosstown traffic
I don't need to run over you
Crosstown traffic
All you do is slow me down
And I'm tryin' to get on the other side of town

I'm not the only soul who's accused of hit and run
Tire tracks all across your back
I can, I can see you had your fun
But, darlin' can't you see my signals turn from green to red
And with you I can see a traffic jam straight up ahead

You're just like crosstown traffic
So hard to get through to you
Crosstown traffic
I don't need to run over you
Crosstown traffic
All you do is slow me down
And I got better things on the other side of town

Pat Travers did this so well in Edmonton one hell of a band. One of the best concerts I have ever been to. Pat Travers the Scorpions, Ted Nugent, who sucked by the way.

Nep in Lougheed's eyes.

Victums Of The Fury

You were all the rays of sunlight
Shinin' gold to me
Every color of the rainbow
I was blessed by her decree
You were every moment's magic
Joy beyond compare
You were all the rays of sunlight
I was lost without a care

Victims of the fury
Shadows in the dark
Victims of the fury
Arrows found their mark

So we lived our days in rapture
Like the world could never end
We weren't thinking 'bout the future
We had time enough to spend
We were blessed as though in heaven
We were messengers of joy
There were angels all around us
There was none who dared destroy

Victims of the fury
Shadows in the dark
Victims of the fury
Arrows found their mark

Then the world collapsed around us
And the tables overturned
We were lambs before the slaughter
We were driven out and burned
Yes the world collapsed around us
And the archers found their mark
We were victims of the fury
We were shadows in the dark

Yeah.....victims of the fury
Shadows in the dark
Oh.....victims of the fury
Arrows found their mark

Victims of the fury
Shadows in the dark
Victims of the fury
Arrows found their mark
