Vas is das!?!!

Has war broken out between the Native Americans and the English again?!? Lung the Legendary expresses his disappointment at rumours that our two nearest neighbours are once again at war. This makes some in the Australian military edgy - military personnel that have proven adept at armed conflict and dream or reliving the glories of our ancestors. However, wise words of wisdom from our great leader have quelled such disquiet, stating that we should not stray from our chosen path of seeking the way to enlightenment, prosperity, and tolerance. Hence it is sad to see such intolerance beween our neighbours.

Lung the Legendary seeks confirmation of such rumours, and if they turn out to be true, will seek to negotiate all possibilities towards peace. It is hoped that this is not another sorry saga of unprovoked agression by either side.

BTW, i will play my turn in about 10 hours when i get home from work.

England would request that Australia should not fret over a simple border realignment between her neighbours. Third party 'peacekeepers' would be viewed as unwelcome visitors to our green and pleasant land!

I'm sure i, Lung the Legendary, speak for the whole world in condemning the English aggression .

The Australian military elite are at this very moment discussing what action, if any, our supreme forces should take. Peace-keeping forces are being seriously considered, but a unilateral force is far preferred. Also, Viking apathy has now proven to have affected the precarious balance of power that threatened the world to deteriorate into war.

If the English are truly settling their differences with the Native Americans, then mediation by Australia should be welcomed. Lung the Legendary takes a very dim view of developments, and considers playing his very strong hand

In the interim, Australia requests an immediate cease fire to cool down the situation.

Due to the howls of protests from the overly aggressive English, Lung the Legendary has used his infinite wisdom to decree that mere observers shall grace the battlefields of Native America. The original contingent has been confined to regiments of the ancient royal guard, which once guarded the great Lungs themselves. They will not form in huge formations, so as not to confuse the illiterate English soldiers into attacking the observers

Lung the Legendary gives his word on the Australian observers not choosing sides in this unfortunate conflict.

English scouts report disturbing Australian troop movements. Trespass is unwelcome but my mercy knows no bounds and I have stayed the hands of my most zeolous disciples. Many yearn to see the ground red with impure Australian blood but I am as patient as I am merciful so you have three Turns to have completely vacated English soil, Diplomats as well, as thereafter all units will be regarded as hostile and treated accordingly.

The Salvation Army today liberated Exeter in a bloodless, for England, operation. Cherokee was also prised from the grip of the 'Primitives' with minimal losses, but the news from Apache was less hopeful as the 'Savages' cruelly murdered my unarmed messenger of love before he had a chance to complete his mission.

I write this with a heavy heart!

Sadly the City of Inuit was destroyed during my attempt to liberate it. I offer my condolences to the bereaved.

Sadder still, it has become obvious that the Australians are determined upon choosing the road to conflict. I managed to restrain my flock from any violence, apart from the sad but neccessary death of a Phalanx, as will be obvious from the mere expulsion a trespassing Diplomat.

It would break my heart to be forced to burn Newcastle to the ground but unless there is an immediate shift in Australian foreign policy I fear it may become neccessary.

OUTRAGE!!!

Australia has done nothing to threaten peace, yet is attacked unprovoked, and against the word of the English leader, Jon of the English. Given three turns to leave English territory, the Australian observers were attacked after just one, after leaving english territory to Native American territory, due to the path home being blocked by bloodthirsty English troops

Let it be known to the world that Australia will not be drawn into conflict at the provocation of the English. Australia has withdrawn it's remaining troops from near English borders to ease the tense situation, and insist that the English withdraw their troops from the vicinity of Newcastle.
