	Ecological Damage Formula Browse Apolyton AD-FREE

I'm new to this game, the best I've won on is Librarian level.

I read the official strategy guide, and it says that there is 0 chance of ecological damage when you have at least +3 PLA. However, I still receive fungal explosions when my mineral production gets too high. I haven't started building the Voice of Planet yet.

Is the guide wrong, or what? Could someone please explain it to me?

Probably the guide is wrong. The (fairly) complete ecodamage formula is in the datalinks. Get Vel's Strategy Guide. Written by someone who knows and loves the game. It is so good that it might be a spoiler, though
