Note that all the trating changes that took place by now are only because of TDLQ, no 10 turns played for now. Updatiing my Excel workbook, however, to make the graph of ladders.

No - I might just give him a kick or two in "an undefined" game - if he's in (DC (and I dare to do it ) - he would eventually be ally with a girl/woman ).

Or in another game - I can't stand, that he is in lead just because his name start with "K" and my with "T".

I'm ally with him in one game - but that dosn't mean I'm ally to him in all games

Muhahah! .. When Klair reads this.... welll lets just say you wont have to worry about playing DC for too long.

Besides. Klair sent me a turn in DC and I dont think the English can do anything to the Russians. Especially not with me leading them.

Oh yeah.. there is 1 game in which you will kick my ass. Giant Bird!!! .. I have such a ****ty starting position. A swampy island, and 6 of my settlers are just roaming around with no place to settle. ..

Hi, I'd like to also be in your ratings. I have beaten deity level back when I still played single-player.

So, do you rate only games where all players are in these rankings? I am playing Lung's fast PBEM and noticed that all the other players in that game are also on your list. I'm also playing Monkey1 and Monkey2 where some but not all players are on your list. Let me know if you need any more information from me.

Paul, if you crush me in Monkey 2 - just to get a better rating - my revenge will be of no mercy. Your dutch regimes in other games will be in great danger

Unfortunately I cannot object to a rating different than 21.000 to Paul. Not yet.

Edit: I will accept Lung Fast to be rated if accepted by other players.

As a matter of fact - all games I'm in, I will accept ratings (even Monkey 2) if wanted by others.

Hello Paul, glad to get you on the ratings! You'll see your name show up in less than a week.

Regarding new or converted rated games:

Please have the Game-Starter e-mail me (steveq@gte.net) and Solver (ugita@latnet.lv) regarding your desire to have your game rated. State the name of the game, the "rated" players that will be involved, and which turn you are currently on. At least two rated players per rated game must mutally agree that the game will be considered rated. Not all players need to agree to the rated nature of the game, but it would greatly lessen the confusion if all players per rated game were rated and all agree to the game being rated. (I.e. rated players do not have to agree that the game is going to be rated, they just won't be counted when ratings are calculated.)

OK... It seems that we (at long last) have a result from one of the games (R2_islands I believe).

Question: Why did my ranking go down even though I'm not in that game?

I liked the format of seeing wins and losses in the table, it provided a bit of perspective....

Stavros, sorry about the change in format, but it was starting to become very cumbersome to update. You can see all the results, by referring to the link to
MATCH601_AM_M mentioned above. It shows all wins and losses along with the delinquencies.

There is an automatic deduction in the rating system for inactivity. That is, -0.05 points per month of inactivity. Most of us got hit by this adjustment on 1-Dec-2000 when November closed. I didn't mention it before, (because I forgot it was in the program, honestly ), but I think it is good to leave in this adjustment. It encourages participation in playing and discourages those that would like to rest on their laurels instead of playing.
