	Naming Landmarks Enter the AD-FREE zone

Are we going to do it just like bases? Or should only important officials who have contributed greatly to our faction have landmarks named for them?

*Landmarks are named after officials
Governement officials, past or present, who have contributed greatly to the faction get landmarks named after them. Anyone may suggest names.

*Landmarks are named after citizens (like bases)
Every citizen who HASNT had gotten a base name, gets to name a landmark after themselves.

*landmarks are not named for citizens
Anyone may suggest a name, Happy Valley, Great Fungus Patch.

*A combination of some of the above (explain)
EXAMPLE: Already named landmarks (like Mount Planet) are renamed after government officials, and non-named places are named after citizens.

*Something else (explain
EXAMPLE: We let the commissioner decide all landmarks

Hmm... I like the idea of polling on the names of landmarks. And if we have nothing better / exciting to do at some point of the game, we can always name that little hill or a valley and have people suggesting names etc...

i imagine we'll still have a poll on the suggestions (Crisler Ridge, Lemmy Ridge, Happy Ridge, Banana Ridge, depending on what wins), just like bases. its in the constitution! DBTS, i'm afraid we may have to ammend you constitution after this poll.

remember, on map of chiron, there are things like "Sea of Nessus" "Great Marine Rift", "Upland Wastes", "Landing Bay" etc.

I'm personally very much against naming places after people. We don't want anything resembling personal cults in Democracy. It's like "Sheng-ji-yang base" and so forth...

The combo originally suggested-- govt officials name already-named landmarks, citizens can name either a base or an unnamed landmark.

I like the idea of having a poll before every landmark to choose from suggestions.

That might make it a bit slow, though.

but i dont like the idea that everywhere landmarks pop up only with a good reason and if we have nothing to do we could chose landmarks
