MarkG and DanQ own the site, and can do whatever they want. That's their right as owners.

They have empowered us to act to maintain order in the forums. They usually support our decisions.

When they don't... they let us know.

But they are great owners, because they let us know in private...

I responded to an old thread from before CTP came out where the poster was talking about how CTP was going to blow away Alpha Centuari (which was coming out around the same time). I was going to try and find out how they eventually felt once all was released. The thread got closed, several threads mocked me for it, and I think my posting # got knocked down a bit.

I have to admit I certainly was surprised.

Still scratching my head on that one.....

I saw the thread you bumped...........it was a strange decision to bump it. Yet if it was only one I doubt you'd get a pcr for it.
