The old english king died early in the short socalled war against the dutch.

Now the people decided not to continue this monarchy. Mr. Bird - afterall, he was the one, that persuade both the dutch and the australians to let the english people have something left - was choosen as president.

Problems though - no place to rule from, no diplomatic relations except with the americans, a nation far from the lonely english cities.

Again Mr. Bird turned to the australians, asking for permission to establish an embassy. A couple of the old english diplomats has survived the massacre and should be able - in a short time - to establish a small office. If allowed.

To the dutch, Mr. Bird send this: No further settlements will be made on the soil of Old England. The small gruops of people are heading for the beach, where they hope, an old boat or whats left of the english navy, will be able to transport them to another place. We had finally been able to get in contact with the phantom-phalanx. He is now heading for the northeast of the island.

Peace to the world - don't let disagreements come between you, who want this world to be a place for many nations.

A: Yes and no. The dutch was already taking what they liked. But the english people didn't ask me - they had to defend their women and children. So the soldiers made an suicide attack on one of the former english cities. Of course they were slaughtered. Swords and pikes against machineguns, tanks and laserweapons.

But in a way, they succeded. Their unselfish sacrifices made it possible to the english to burn down most of their cities and leave into the wilderness. Some might survive there. And the dutch did not get anything from those cities.

Why not? The German civilisation is largely under Australian control so if you want to control 2-3 cities, go right ahead! I've already made peace with them, so you'll have no threat from me.

I need a replacement for a player... me! Don't worry, it's a long story and it involves me having to move back to my home town for now. This might be a permanent thing so you might be a permanent replacement for me.

To the primitive Australian people: those big domey thingies are the forcefields protecting the cities of the mighty Dutch empire. Some years ago the great Dutch scholars and engineers built a national shield that provides such a forcefield to all Dutch cities. Perhaps some day the Australian scientists will also discover these wonders of modern technology.

All you need is the official 1.2 patch. The hack is not really needed since we started the PBEM game "unmodified".

Or was I I mean, my english is now a lot better (most reading, but also spelling) during the last 1½ year. And the costs for my company has been near to zero.
