VP Isis sat tapping her finger nails on her long marble desk. She had just finished reading a memo from the intelligence department concerning A Roman probe launch. Why was she waiting for a report back from analysis? Egypt had no ships capable of delaying the probe, and the board would never tolerate a war with Rome. She knew this would happen when she took the job as VP of Roman Relations; but had thought herself immune to the fate which had befallen all the past VPs. She expected her briefing soon and knew what that it would end in her dismissal.

She had already lined up her scape goat, but it wouldn't do her any good. The words of CEO Sophix already echoed thru her head, " Any failing of your underlings is your failing." Bah. Well time to commence with the firings, She sure as hell wasn't going to go out alone.

The Welsh people are agrieved that their PERVing has had to cease, especially when at last there is something worth PERVing at - Roma-Tech have not only built underwater cities, but now cities in space. And it seems that they are intent on building an alien lifeform.

But one does have to wonder at the waste of the shareholder's money at building such a costly Chunnel, when the end result of Fusion Tanks on Welsh soil could be more easily accomplished by a crossing at Sebennytos! Not that we would ever sanction such an act, of course!
