I said as soon as possible; there is no guarantee that we can get peace with France, Persia, and/or Germany. By making what peace we can, then we can concentrate on the other civs.

I think if we can sign peace with Germany, we should. At the moment, we're dealing with war on too many fronts. Germany is another hassle we don't need. However, if they don't play along, then perhaps a quick offensive to take out a city or two might be needed.

Peace at the end of the 5 turn no-negotiation period.

Indifferent on Munich. It's not a threat but it's not in a great location either (after a culture flip) so I'm no longer totally opposed to razing it..

Ok, so so far we've got A) People who want to take Munich, and B) People who think we'll get better terms if we take Munich first.

Just out of curiosity, Anyone think we should skip Munich all together?

I think we'll get it one way or another, we could wait for the culture flip and shift those forces who would take it to speed up the taking of Sidon and Tyre.

That would be my action of choice.

I think we need peace after we either raze or take munich. Also seizing it would give us +3g a turns(1gold and 2 more support under monarchy). I would wait until 3 sword are ready and attack munich.

I honestly don't like its proximity to our Iron if nothing else, and if we had it it would extend our boarders so our backs aren't to the ocean quite so much in that area.

I would like us to take H'burg. I am indifferent about Munich 'cos we'll take it anyway, but if it's the only way to get peace then it should be the 2nd target.

I too favor striking against Munich (hopefully getting some swordsmen promoted), and Hamburg, too. We should take the opportunity to prune Germany, IMO, while she is strung out fighting multiple wars. We are not facing any imminent serious danger from either France or Persia. And we're going to have to take on Germany sooner or later; Bismark wont let us consolidate our position up and down Central Abananaba without striking. Better we take them on now, and do a bit of damage.

I believe that we should move troops to outside munich, and then see what he will give us(of course if he doesn't talk we attack). If munich is size1 we see what his offer is and reconsider. If his offer is good, we take it and it is onward to tyre. If not bye bye munich. I have considered and i do see the wisdom of not wasting our precious troops on attacking a city we could have soon with flip. I suspect he won't alk and we will take or raze munich. I think we shoulkdn't bind ourselves and our leaders with specific goals. Opportunities might appear in the playing that we can't forsee.

We have to prune them a little, by the same arguments I've been used in the Persian Peace thread. The French paid them to declare war to us with OUR money, and we want it back!
So, as soon we can have something from them we may stop the war.

The Economic benefits of forcing the Germans to the table by the destruction of Munich can't be ignored. I say we mass our Swordsmen near Munich, take it out, get Peace and whatever gold we can, and then march toward Tyre and Sidon.
