Why not? Because millions died during World War II,

OBL is a nice boy compared to hitler. He only killed a few thousands.

and of course it's not hitler, but it's someone pretending to be hitler. I pherhaps this person tries to make a parody or whatever, but the parody is not complete. It's for 90% of the people just a picture of hitler with the text 'this is not hitler' next to it.

and it's not comedy in the sense of the Naked Gun series, it's satire, it's condemnation.

and it talks about the oppresion of the jews! the holocaust only proved the film to be correct on it's message, on it's warning

btw, 1940 was when Chaplin and America were still safe and sound. Did he or anyone make another like it in 42 or later; or most importantly, after the horrible truth was known? No.
