They realize we're going to take their entire homeland and new Sidon will give them an alternate source of spice.

I can remember the "dark days" when everyone was wanting to hire alliances and cave in to Persia and Germany.

And we have an outside chance of getting (or razing) Oxford without declaring war on the English because the Persian captial is now right next door, and looking at the map, Oxford's culture is inferior to both Persian cities next to it.

If we get Oxford, we should either raze it, or build a settler to disband the city and relocate it.
