Put an end to popups!

well in their point of view it was an act of bravery (the terrorists who blew up the planes), for everybody else it's an act of terrorism

i'm not surprised, it's just how those islamic extremists think, just like a lot of normal people i meet during the day are complete idiots (i've met people who were trying to convince other people that the palestinians should all be wiped out of israel etc (he said it like that)..

it's all in their head, and you can't make them understand that what they are saying is complete bollox)

maybe seeing their families blown up by american bombs does that to some of them.

for the others they are manipulated.

Nothing surprises me though. Turkey celebrates massacres and genocides and is an "ally of the west". So why not them?

Paik, you don't seem to get it. (Well, no one is actually as idiotic as he is, but in case some one actually falls for that kind of tripe, I'll explain).

If America had wanted to, we could have slaughtered millions of muslims in 9 hours after 9/11. Failing that, we could've at least vaporized several major ciities in afghanistan, iraq, and iran. Yet those cities still stand.

I fail to see Americans celebrating the death of innocent civilians. Perhaps you could prove me otherwise.

no idea mate, just keep in mind that most belgian moroccans don't speak arab, they're berbers (i'm not sure whether that's the english word) and they're kind of oppressed in their own country.. well oppressed, i mean they're generally quite poor, and thus hold on to islamic traditions...

I haven't met a person who takes a pleasure what happened that day.. and a person who would truly joy, well that's sick. Whether it's enemy or not, there's something wrong if you enjoy their deaths. I mean truly enjoy. That means the person is lacking the respect for human beings and life itself. Some people just simply don't care.. maybe they've too used to news like that, or they're just coping with it, trying to stay mentally fit at all times.

I find it troubling when I look into myself and wonder about it. On the other hand, I don't want wars to happen.. but on the other hand I'm waiting them in the news, laying back and eating pizza. It's becoming entertainment. It sometimes scares me. Am I lacking that respect myself? I'm not enjoying it, but still it beats the movies.. Why do I find it cool when I see cruise missiles flying, fighters taking off etc. It means people are going to die after all! I'm just leaving the people dying part off my head and concentrate on cool fighters and their specs. Maybe I should get my head checked.

I feel lives hold equal weight regardless of nationality. Therefore I believe the deaths of innocent civilians in Afghanistan itself afterwards was a greater tragedy as more died. Just my opinion.

Things aren't that black and white. Would you accept the killing of an innocent man, against his will, if it would save ten people via organ donation?

They do that in China, you know. Human Rights Groups screamed Bloody-Mary 'bout that a few years back. Harvesting the organs of prison inmates without their consent is still unethical and immoral, even if an individual was a murderer.

This scenario is not appropriate. I'm not cticising the US military (yet ), I'm just saying more innocent civilians died in the aftermath.

Ah, yeh sorry I do agree with you. I was just saying that the civilians living in Afghanistan were just as innocent as those innocents who persished in the towers.
