“Well Mr. Chairman, you seemed to have everything well in hand. The short war with Egypt was highly profitable. New technologies are streaming in from all over the globe. We have a city in space and will soon have the technology to keep the people well under control. All in all a great performance,” said the Chief Financial Officer. “I expect you shall have no problems at the stockholder’s meeting tomorrow.”
“Yes, I have done well,” beamed the Chairman. “But I consider my greatest achievement to be how I have handled the Greens. That last eco-disaster was very useful. I put the Green Party leader in charge of the clean up. It was mainly the Egyptians who were responsible for it, so it gets the Green off our backs,” The Chairman said smugly. “Turn on the viewer, that Green lady is giving a speech at Leon at the opening of the first fusion plant.”
“…And while this modern marvel of clean energy production will go a long way to improving the quality of life for the citizens of Leon, there are other areas of the world choking under the pollution forced upon the people by their governments.
And that is why I now announce a major shift in Spanish eco-policy. The Green Party and friends of the Greens have accumulated enough stock and proxies to have their slate of board members elected at tomorrows stockholder meeting of Spain United, Ltd…”
The Chairman’s face sudden lost all color.
“…And thus the Greens will again rule Spain. And as our first act I will reveal this is not really a fusion plant, but the completion of the Eden Project started years ago under the first Spanish Green government.”
“Turn it off, now,” barked the Chairman. “Juan contact our embassy in Germany, see if they will give asylum to the board. Someone call the aerodrome I want the corporate space plane ready to leave within the hour.”

"Here are the satellite images before, and after the detetonation of the Eden device." the general said as the images appeared side-by-side on the view screen.
The effects were obvious. Three cities in the heart of Egpyt, Cario, Alexandria and Memphis, had disappeared.
"We expect the Egyptian to retaliate, they seemed the have increased their production even furthur," the general added. "We are prepared on the Egyptian front, but now the Phonecians are making some noise.."
"That does not matter, our only concern is the saving of the planet," the Madam President-Elect broke in. "And with this technology, any who oppose this goal will get the same."

What is our current status ?
Three more recycling plants finished, sir, but it's no use.
The news about what is happening in Leon has brought everybody on the street. The people refuse to work, and refuse to recycle just anything.
It is hopeless.
Ok, bring me to my corporate space plane, we are leaving.
Erhmmm ..., all space planes have been grounded, sir, too much pollution.
Ok, then I will just stick up my thumb when I see a Spanish space plane on it's way to Germany.
One way or another, I am leaving, let the greens clean up this mess.
Erhmmm ..., they already have, sir.
