Looks very promising. It's actually my original suggestion, except for the CD-RW drive and the sound card. Yes, Plextor's products do have a high-quality. I myself have a Plextor Plexwriter 24/10/40A and I like it pretty much. So far all discs have always succeeded, so I haven't had any trouble.

BTW, when you buy your new home theatre amplifier, do remember to check that it will have an optical input for digital sound. And you also need to get the analog sound (front and rear) from the sound card using 2x miniplug stereo -> 2x RCA cable. But that's nothing to worry about now.

Heh.. let's just say that it seemed like a very nice system to have. But again I have to do more research when that time comes and I have money. Now I'll wait for a bit and order these tonight if I feel good about this.

I still think that's pretty good set for the money I'm paying.. I thought it will rise close to 2000 euros.

Well, the Hercules sound card saved you about 100 € compared to an Creative SoundBlaster Extigy or Audigy Platinum with digital outputs and FireWire. And now you also get a good case for abit cheaper. So I always shop around myself too before I order, because there's always good products for abit cheaper prices available. BTW, MBnet Hintaseuranta is one good tool too.

Just remember that you need to have a power cord for your new AOpen case, because that one doesn't include one.

Hey, I dunno if this has been mentioned yet, but NVidia is bringing out two knew AGP 8X products in mid-October. I just read about them. Obviously prices will drop after this point. If you can wait, again, I suggest you wait. =)

Well, Pekka already ordered his parts, but I guess the AGP 8x products could be already next year cheaper, but they would need a mobo, so it's not that cheap.
