Thanks mods, for understanding that the title was mostly an advertising scheme.
My main point, which I believe people realize is not about international involvement. American political leaders hassle other countries because it's fun, and we the people go along with it for kicks.
Really I wonder why so many foreigners are so concerned about how Americans run their own domestic policy. Every once in a while you'll see the Wall Street Journal or somebody criticize Europe for its internal leftism, but you rarely see normal Americans making a big deal of how other countries are run.
I mostly noticed this when the big issue of electronic games being prohibited in Greece popped up. For once, it was Americans on this forum making fun of a European country that had some badly written law on the books. Of course, the Greeks knew that the law wasn't as serious as it sounded, and was broad only to crack down on unliscensed gambling, but that's already been discussed.
By and large it seems that Americans are perfectly happy keeping to themselves about most issues, while non-Americans always seem to have some idea of what's terribly wrong with a country most of them have never seen, and only very few have lived in for long. Also, I wanted to troll the Europeans, but I suppose it was a bit late for that anyways.

I'm not going to read this thread, because I don't care. The first post was interesting though, and I'd like to answer your question about why we're the center of everyone's attention.
It's very simple.
Who else would be the center if not us? Huh? Iraq? They actually had their 15 mins, even though we were involved and we got put down for it later, too. But who else? Malta? New Guinea? Bahrain? Germany? Great Britain? Heh....no, just simply no.
I mean, we're better than them. We're better than entire continents even by the numbers. Africa, Asia, South America, Europe and others can't even begin to compare, even by the numbers, and inside of those contitnents are various nationalities, wondering why they can't be as good as this one single great nation.
So anyway, **** all Europeans. You people are scum. Thank you!

You know that's not entirely correct. I remember a troll about England that I did. They swarmed on it like flies. And hordes of them filed complaints with the management and I got a vacation on Mingapulco.
