Rumours have been spreading within Russia that the Czar was planning the creation of a massive army of such proportions that it will dwarf any army that has ever existed. People have been wondering about the reasoning behind such a massive undertaking, especially considering that the only two other people who exist enjoy cordial relations with our nation. However, it is expected that High Priest Vladimir will give his blessings to the Czar's plans anyway.

It is hoped that such a diversion of Russian resources will not have adverse effects on Russian prosperity. Perhaps it is best that these armies be created, for the bountiful lands of Prussia are infested with barbarians and a strong defense against them is needed. One thing is for certain, this undertaking will seal Russia's destiny to become the Greatest empire that has ever existed and will ever come into existence.

Absolutely not. I started with a very weak position and I doubt I'll ever be able to improve it. The way the rankings work, this game will guarantee me 5 losses every ninth turn until I get wiped out. I don't want to add the losses in this game to the 9 losses every ninth turn that I'm getting in the other 2 rated games I'm playing.

I'm away on business for a few days but I will be able to take my turns just so long as you go back to posting my turns to dsryalls@lineone.net which is working again now.
