Killer games and team games sounds like too much pressure for me and my baby PBEM career.

But if anyone would like to start up any form of normal, light spirited game, I'd like to join.

All the current subbing opportunities don't seem appealing, and I'm starved for turns.

Seige, likewise I think Keygen is putting a lot of efforts into some team gaming...I really want to see this develop, and would be happy to help in the organisation on this as well as in the actual playing!

There have been a few abortive threads about Team/Tribe playing, but I think eventually it will start... It would be a good starting point to see people start teaming up, and then try it from there!

If you take over position from Blackice in one or two games, I think you could not go far wrong... he is a good playing, there is one very serious drawback though.... Blackice is Canadian.....WHAT????????? You are too..... aaarrggghhhh......

Ok looking for resumes for Let There Be Rock...

Turn 30 easy start good land, diplomacy and science. Player is moving to the land of the FREE CANADA of course so he has to jump for some time to come.

Jump on this one fast it is a good game waiting for a player.

CivII MPG player since it came out... a little Internet gaming there, though in its time there just wasn't enough bandwidth to play a good game without constantly loosing connection.

Ctp gamer once the price finally dropped okay... so I'm cheap... played through it a few times, my Gemini traits sprang forth when I set three kingdoms against each other in a multiplayer game... it ended up that two joined forces and pounded the third into the mud... then they raced to the alien clone win.

SMAC and SMAX gamer for the past year... currently can be found in the Mac SMAC threads running around playing a game (WIMF if anybody wants to actually look at it.) Game been going smoothly (minus a minor mishap that delayed it for a week on my part) but we're back up in running to almost a turn a day (average a turn every day and a half.)

That's about it... I do own a Mac, but I got the file-typer and I have a Zip compression program, so I'm good to go in those departments.

Either PM me, or just hunt me down... I'm online often throughout the days and that won't change much when summer rolls around either.

How's that?

Just remembered something that's probably more important than all the babbling I wrote out earlier... generally on weekends (mostly just Saturdays) something always comes up so I can't check me e-mail or go online.

5 years playing Civ II then CTP. Played 10 or so internet games in Civ II, but never PBEM. CTP, just played against AI's. Is that it?

Online gaming? No, I'll do PBEM. Maybe once I get a wireless connection (128k) I'll look into it, but my modem (48.8k on good days) just doesn't make it fair to those that do have good connections.

Flameflash, we got a guy who plays online in Australia with a Dodgy connection, not cable!, your connection would be plenty good enough for online..... and you learn much, and it is SUPERB fun!!!

hehe.....that was nothing. I met a guy named ivan a year ago who lived in a trailer park in Russia. He played via modem.

I know there's an updated servers.dat file that one of the multiplayers can give you (I'm just a PBEMer myself....until summer break that is )
