	Arafat under siege Inflate your Upload Space

Live tv coverage. Arafat refuses to come out. Cable new commentators are saying "this will be America's future if we fail to act on terror".

Also "this is a credit card bill thats due" and "the world's oceans were drained on 9/11 and this is what we can expect".

No wonder so much of the world thinks so little of America. I just want to go on record as saying we are not all bubbleheads.

Not to minimize the threat that terror presents, but these comments are inane.

FOX was going bonkers over it earlier on Saturday. I turned to CNN to see if they had anything live ... but all they had was some pre-recorded program about the Pope.

Is it just me, or I am the only one who gets irritated by FOX's incessant "fair and balanced" coverage shtick they're always harping about? Good grief. The more I hear somebody or something say how flawless they are (or religious, or charitable), the more I wanna dig into their past to see if it's true.

They made a whole drama out of it. From watching Fox you could've thought that Israel is going to finally shoot the dog. Eventually we blew up some small building and that's it.

Sharon will not order the killing of Arafat no matter how much he wants too. 1) He is supposed to have promised bush not to. 2) Having him killed will not lead to less violence from palestinians.

All this is a predetermined chicken-race where Sharon tries to gain something from humiliating his opponent. Probably nothing will change.

To make his living conditions unbearable, so that he'll leave the region by himself.

The IDF is probably the best, or second best, army in the world. What a shame that the man who gives the orders must be the worst strategist and tactician in the world.

I find it interesting that Arafat always calls on the United States to intervene; and, we usually do.

With US trying to firm up support for the war on Saddam, I predict the US will again intervene to save the terrorist-in-chief.

Israeli media said that IDF promises not to make this a "second Church of the Nativity", and will make a decisive move if they have to.

Channel 1 news, said that the government has required IDF to prepare for such a scenario, in which they storm the compound and take out the wanted men (and maybe Arafat as well) with 0 casualties on both sides.

As for the bulldozers - IDF announced it has finished bulldozing and the bulldozers are pulling out as we speak.

You know, I watched pictures of the protests on BBC, and frankly I usually had troubles finding unarmed people.

Most of the pictures showed fully armed and sometimes even uniformed palestinian Tanzim members going through the streets, firing into the air, and chanting slogans.

Only several pictures showed non-armed kids throwing rocks at an IDF car, which chased them away by driving to their direction. That's it.

Having not seen pictures of the "unarmed protestors" getting hurt, I refuse to accept them being called unarmed.
