This is at least the second time this has come up with this user. The thread cannot be found by them, and apparently any attempt to link to it results in a log-out. Is this a known issue, an issue with the ISP...?

Hmmm... I can't recreate the problem with my browser (Mozilla 1.1). I would more like blame the browser used, than the ISP. Or maybe they're trying to access the forums using the IP. Those two are IMHO the most likely reasons. Please ask them to upgrade their browsers (MSIE 6.0, Netscape 7.0, Mozilla 1.1 and Opera 6.05) and update any bookmarks to http://apolyton.net and http://apolyton.net/forums.

Support Apolyton, buy Alpha Centauri

I can recreate the problem anytime. Just add Ming/Rah to any OTT thread and watch it go...

That means he should follow my advices (see above). Oh, and also ask him to check the cookie settings of the browser and also check the ones in the control panel on ACS Forums.
