I don't think version numbers are important in PBEM games, since during one PBEM game, they'll proberly update the game several times...

actually, and this is relevant to Spancer's question too ..... is everyone who originally said they wanted to play in this still wanting to?

if someone has dropped out for any reason Spencer could replace them. perhaps some PM's are required to ask the original players if they are still interested?

Though there's a little problem with this... I don't have the mod file with the standard rules. I have changed two rules:

The Wheel needed to build roads (But this can easily be changed back)
Added lots of new city-names for the old Civs (I can't see the negative side of this)

Anyway, I just had a look at the players Civ-choice:


Players:

ADG,--------------------(voted,random)
Tiberius,--------------------(voted,random)
Buster 13,-----------------(voted, Aztec)
Trip,-------------------------(voted,random)
Frustrated Poet,----------(voted, New Civ)
Alva848,--------------------(voted,random)

reserves: Calc II

Frustrated Poet wants a "new Civ", but it's not possible to say random "new Civ", so, you'll have to choose...

It's gonna be confusing when doing 4 or 5 pbem's at the same time, especialy when the same people are involvelved once or twice
