Welcome welcome to the glorious province of Ile de Rose - leading Apolytonia in tourism.

Now that gunpowder has been discovered, many of our local bow-makers have been turning their woodcraft skills into the making of so-called "skis", a plank for sliding across snow. This has been a big-selling item in Jerusalem's famous weekly market, with many locals taking to the nearby mountain slopes to try out their new purchase.

We invite you to the newly opened ski resort of "Haut Jerusalem", a short horse ride from our city's main square. Particularly recommended for senior military officers on reconnaisance, er, I mean R&R.

In Macross City, more cerebral pursuits are enjoyed by those attending recitals by our empire's first symphony orchestra and cathedral choir. The most popular work in this first season has been a celebration of the city's riverside location - "Water Music" by Mr Dore Knob.

Ile de Rose is easy to visit - our officials are friendly and helpful and renowned for low levels of corruption, unlike other provinces we could mention. Come soon, come often!

Now I know that in your "cute" little opening, you wern't talking about Piña Colada and the Unstoppable First Knight of Apolytonia! We here know how to handle upstart provinces. Just look at how much we here from Lord Duddha in El Nino! We have silenced him! And look at the way Piña Colada got carved up in the Provincial Border vote! Ah... um... wait a minute... Where the hell was I going with this arguement? Ahh...pbltpbltpblt!

Actually I was thinking of the Persian provinces, which were highlighted in a corruption report elsewhere.

As the proud namer of Macross City, I salute our new regional admin.

This week at macross city, we will be holding our first water basket weaving compitition. Many of the contestants are very excited, and the competition is expected to be fearce.

We are also hosting a representative for the World Olympics. A compitition where scantly clad women from around the world do such things as have banana oil wrestling competitions, the banana toss, and other skills of grace. We hope to hold this Olympics by the year 800.

Glad to here my old dominion is doing so well. I'm sorry the Here It Is Winos couldn't make more headway in the Jungle Ball League, to make Ile de Rose proud....but we still have hope.

Of course, since the glorious republican revolution, the palace has been turned into civic offices, and the RA has taken very modest premises on the ground floor, er, near the former harem area.
