I think what he means is that for the PTW Multi-player forums, you'll need to be a part of the team with secure access to go in. To vote in polls, etc., in the regular demo games you'll need to be a 'group member'.

well, officially yes, but not really

what will happen is that pretty soon you wont be able to vote in the c3dg forum if you havent joined the c3dg group

but you wont need to be a member in order to post (unless the people request it that is)

Is that the main function of the feature? Because if it is, then it's only useful if most people use it.

for multiplayer of course it will only be usefull if people use it

for democracy games, soon you wont be able to vote in polls if you havent joined. so you'll have to join if you want to participate in the game with vote
