Wow...how did you get in here MrWIA?
You must vow to keep silence of what you have read,MWIA, for all time, until the very Bob is covered with fire on every square millimeter (er, roleplaying, excuse me, cubit) and every square cubit is covered with ice at the same time.
If you do not, we will find you. Count on it.

I'd like to stress this again, if any of you have friends on the other teams, keep those friendships alive and keep open the lines of conversation. It's OK to tell them a bit about what we're doing and give them a good impression about our fun-loving team. Make a positive impression and exchange information with them so that we can get a better idea of how the other teams are operating.
Those of you who are closely connected to someone from another team will be given the Ambassador job to that team. I'd like to have the other teams working with someone who is their friend, and I want to encourage an attitude of cooperation and trust from the beginning.

I've got a good relationship with UnOrthO (Glory of War). I don't know if it'll help -- I somehow suspect UnOrthO'll be very consistant in seperating his personal feelings from the way he plays the game -- but if I do happen to be talking to him about it, I'll keep your guidelines in mind .
In general, I think we've really hit upon something here. Let's be everyone's friend for now -- we can always stab 'em in the back later, or perhaps entirely avoid early-game conflict (should we so desire).
Finally, I think we've got the right strategy when it comes to pretending to be incompatent . There are several groups who we discuss the most when we formulate our strategies; let's do our best to not be one of the groups the other guys are talking about. Supprise and flexability are our greatest advantages, since we have no stated goal (unlike most of the other teams).
Just a few thoughts... I'm going to try to become more active over here, and I think we're in for lots of fun.

EDIT: Other people on other teams who I've worked with on a more personal level at some point in the C3DG. Gathering Storm: Meshelic, notyoueither. Glory of War: Aro. Lux Invicta: Apoc. (I've interacted with many of the other players as members of the C3DG, but I'm just skimming the list for anyone who I've worked closely with on some project in the past -- though again, I'm dobut it's worth any brownie points ).

Have worked (and occasionally just chatted) well and often with Aggie, Spiffor, nye, Apoc, Trip, meshelic, Nimitz (who wants to be the Ambassador for his team to us, BTW)..... basically anyone in any Demo game beforehand.
Unless your cooperation is continuing away from this forum, say in the Civ3 SP Demo game, I doubt that experiences with these posters will make any difference, and I strongly suspect that we are effectively opposed to each other in every capacity within this forum. It's like one login having DL personalities. Expect no favours or luck in this regard.

Well, I personally feel inclined to help the builders, but just because they were so ignored and berated in the SP.
Otherwise, ive worked with quite the many of the other teams people, like Trip, and Uber, and so on and so on. But I have more of a thirst to smash them than anything. Because i worked closely with them, I feel more inclined to use my knowledge against them, rather than thinking "how can we ally with them".
But God Save the Builders, after he annoints us rulers of the world.
