	Who should control the empire sliders? Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations

Several people voted in the poll to decide the ministers the governement our DG will have.

But some stuff is being discusses and our dividing our community.
One of this stuff is to decide who should control the Empire settings, pw-rate. sliders, sci-rate. (In another words the empire manage screen).

Here is a summary of the ministery of our government and their function (I have propositaly not adde the empire slider in any of the positions) so that you can decide in which position we should add the control of the Empire settings, , pw-rate. sliders, sci-rate.

President
- government type
- Running the game

Minister of Defense
- Military Units
- Special units, except settlers

Minister of Domestic Affairs
- City build orders
- City Management, specialists
- City placement/naming, settlers

Minister of Infrastructure
- Terraforming/Infrastructure

Minister of Trade, Science and Diplomacy
- Trade
- Science
- Diplomacy

the pres, as long as he won't get any veto-powers let's give him some other stuff to decide - government is likely to always be decided by a vote

I agree but the Domestic Affair Minister has already too much work deciding what to build in every city. But i do belive that having the infrastructure minister with this functions also makes sense. After all to decide Work hours, Wages, PW rate, Science rate has something to do with infrastructure planning.

I voted Pres, but under the assumption, he has to place a poll, before changing.

Well, it is a domestic affair, so then obviously the Minister of Domestic Affairs should handle it. (Otherwise we could always rename the post to Minister of Some Domestic Affairs. )

Don’t worry too much about the president not doing too much – I don’t know many president’s around the world in RL that do much anyway.
