Conference Held in Istanbul
New Alliance Declared!

The Streets of Istanbul were cleaned this last month in preparation for a conference between the heads of state of the Ottoman Empire, Italy, and Great Britain. Other nations were invited, but had snubbed their nose at the whole purpose of the conference.

To create a new alliance block. The new alliance, aptly named the Ocean Adjacent Alliance (OAA) was created in response to the expansionist pollicies of the Continental Alliance. 'The purpose of this alliance is to band together in protection, lest the continental gun barrel aims down our sites,' Kawa Yannes is said to have said. This is a new dawn for the state of Ottoman, and we will ally with and grow with the best.

The formal alliance was signed on August the 21. Long live the OAA!

Today France, Germany and Russia have entered into a grand land power alliance to counter the slimy submariner alliance. From this great day forward the world will revolve around the Axis formed by Paris, Berlin, and Moscow.

Amsterdam Joins the Union

Parades and celebrations were held in Amsterdam as Herr Kanzeller visited to oversee the transfer of power. The Dutch monarch was executed by guillotine in public and Governor von Moltke was sworn into office.

Kriegsmarine Destroyers and Cruisers Patrol French Coast

The minor ships of the Kriegsmarine have been assigned the duty of patroling the coast of the continent between the Basque coast and the coastal waters of the Fatherland. While patrolling the new Coast Guard found that a large fleet of British ships is sitting in international waters between London and Amsterdam, the fleet admirals conferred and it was discovered that this was simply a trade mission and escort .

Jmarks, it was because you played with the old version (my fault ) with a 1/3 multiplier and then when the next player played with a 1/8 multiplier the AI had some extra movement in every unit and moved them, regardless of ctrl-n. This has happened in any game where rules files didn't match up.

O.K. slight problem: as soon as I started my turn and tried to move a frieght it came adjacent to a German unit and the stupid A.I. decleared war on me! I hadn't realy done anything so i guess it's OK for me to replay it: Germany please set your attitude to Cordial or so otherwise we'll have an unintended declaration of war, I'll just try to avoid all german units for this turn...
