I wish we had one that good... sigh...

I'm not saying that the coach shouldn't be blamed... if you ask me, the moron should have just kicked the field goal... but once the decision was made (and I'm sure with 100% support from Warner)... Warner HAS to perform... he failed. Nothing wrong with that under the circumstances, but he did fail, so must expect to take the blame for the last play.

I would still take Warner in a second as our QB. He's a good one... He's been great before, and will be in the future... but here... he blew it. I don't hold that against him.

Cowboys blew it by winning. I'm still lobbying for better draft picks, being a Planner and all.

Iad my doubhts about Hutchinson, but he does throw the ball a lot better than Carter, he's pretty damn accurate, relatively speaking. Carter always looked like he was to hyper, so hardly ever get set and threw a proper pass.

I want Dallas to get better so I can hate them again. It's hard to hate a crappy team.

Just some quick perspective, Imran -- I started this by saying I was glad the Rams lost because I thought Godcoach Martz made a bad call 2 weeks ago when he said Warner would get his job back as soon as he was healthy. Just IMHO, but look what Brady did last year, replacing an injured All-Pro who was off to a bad start.

I stant by my main point -- Martz blew it, and got what he deserved.
And yes, I just love to see the high-and-mighty brought back down a peg or two.

Considering how well they started the game, the fact that they had to try a final-minute comeback means that this could only be described as a team loss by StL.

Frankly, didn't know you were a Falcons aficionado. You must be one happy camper these days!

well the Rams are so used to scoring touchdowns easily I can see how they made this mistake.

But you look at how well the Rams were stopping the Redskins in the late fourth quarter even if they lost the toss in OT they could have shut the pathetic redskins down. Sure the redskins ran the ball early. But there is more pressure to pass in OT.

The rams could have easily won in OT even if they loss the toss.

I don't think the redskins ran the ball very well, just a lot.

Davis had 31 carries for 88 yards. On defense, that's acceptable. It's less than 3 yards a carry.

good point. So there's even less of a chance the redskins could have done anything in OT. I was listening on the radio in the fourth quarter. It didn't sound like the redskins had any offense in the last part of the fourth quarter.

So if the Rams lost the coin toss- no biggie. Spurrier might have even elected to kick if he won the toss.

Practice, Practice, Practice. You'll find it gets easier to hate the Cowboys if only you practice.

Tired of ads?

I still hate Jerry Jones no matter what.

I actually liked the Cowboys under Jimmy Johnson.

but I cannot forgive them over the forced resignation (or was he fired) of a coach who won 2 superbowls in a row.

Put an end to popups!

Dallas wasn't big enough for 2 egos that size.

I happened across a picture of rah, on his way to watch Da Bears football game.

Well that has been a problem for the Rams recently. St. Clair is a REALLY bad LT.

QB's get way too much glory and blame.
In the old days, like with the Lombardi Packers, there were a lot less plays, i.e. Student Body Right.
Now, plays out the kazoo. Many more checks.

Couldn't agree more Slow.

While they may be the most important player onteh team, they are not team.

No "I" in team and all that jazz.

OTOH it seems to me that the most ego ridden position of all in the NFL is wide receiver.

Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

Exactly Slow!!

There are only 2 QBs in the league that deserve glory and blame for their team's offense: Farve and Manning. Farve is that team's offense and he deserves all the glory (and much of the blame when he screws up). Manning makes so many audibles that the performance of the offence is tied to him.

Everyone else? Tied to the system they play in.
