My plan unless there is something really amazing is to plop down the first city and move worker to best adjacent tile and start building a Warrior.

1, unless you think we can trade for bronse. Then go for wheel as others will shy away from it.

In all my test games, I put the sci on max and go for bronse, wheel, horseback. Then I poop out horsemen to upgrade later...

We start on a hill next to a river with 2 wine, game, fish and 4 shielded grassland in our expanded city radius.

Propose found "Glory of War" and build Warrior

Move worker SW to mine grassland

And research Bronzeworking at 100%

A mined shielded grassland will produce the same number of shields as a forest or mined hill but with more food.

We also have seven hills in addition to the one our capital is founded on to mine for production.

The yellow circles are prime camp sites for our next cities.

Yes the yellow sites will build a barracks then nothing but troops, settlers, and workers.

They are only one space away form the capitol and will have virtually no corruption, just think of them as extensions of the capitol.

Once our cities can exceed size 12 we can dismantle them.

I would agree that the locale to the upper right is best. The one to the south would have a river in it and might exceed size 6 (I am not familier with this stragety, maybe I am wrong), and the city to the North West would be to inclined to use the fish which wouldn't produce any shields.

However, we should explore more before we decide (and get that GOODIE HUT!)

They won't exceed size 6, heck they probably won't exceed size 3 as they will be building settlers as much as possible and warriors/archers to kill time between settlers.
