Well, uhm, it's... eee... Tall Stranger... hm. Checked him - he really is in the Gathering Storm civgroup (and said it was Theseus directing him to me). Saw him post in the Strat forum a coupla times, but other than that, never heard of him.

I believe the turn has not been played yet (and I consider it unlikely Zargon will be able to plat it until much later today).

I would have already played it, but there is one thing we should agreed upon first - and that is the note to GS. Since, if I understand the will of the team correctly, we want to send the note along with the save to free our hands with respect to the GS lux deal starting basically from the next turn (assuming GS will move northwards).

I am going to post a quick poll - I suggest that we first run through it and play our turn only then.

Alright, I believe it's ok to play our turn now. I take it that we shall send the combined message. As I saw no major objections to how I welded mine and redstar's together, I will send them as proposed in the stern notice poll thread.

I will also send saltpeter, as those agreeing are more numerous than those opposing it. Everything else shall be played as published in the next turn thread.

OK, turn played, the diplo note was included in the savegame email - I did not know whom to send it to, as GS seems to have no formal leader now. As almost all their members get our save, I hope it will not go unnoticed this way...

OK, I thought I would play the turn before going to bed today - however, I would like to hear more members on the idea of trading gold for luxuries with ND. I take it Tibi is 100% for sending the gold (2*151g for 20t of 2 different luxuries). Redstar seemed to support the idea, too. I personally support it, too. But I would like to hear from others - at least from those that actively participate.

Even saying whether you support a simpler 1/1 deal (151g for 20 turns of 1 lux) would be fine. We'd play the turn, sending the gold - and could discuss the other part while waiting for the next save.

I will play the turn immediately after waking up, which will be ~4am GMT. Unless I see disapproval in the forum, I will send all our gold (151g) to ND and lower the science slider so that we make 151+gpt this turn.

EDIT: almost nothing unexpected, so I am going to play our turn. I screwed the plan for Tarzania last turn (forgot the city would not grow, being already at pop 6), so I will revert the city back to military production at 0fpt. Also, Bruno needs an assignment - I will send him to the mountain near Oasis, to road & mine it, as Oasis will need the mined mountain to replace the mined iron hill that will be worked by Karina.
