	Looking for PBEM game Support Apolyton, buy Call to Power 2

Looking for a PBEM game to join. I'll play any civ - prefer US, English, or German though.

How many players you looking for. I'd be up for a game if the number of players is low, so that the turns arrive at a reasonable rate.

I'll take any civ too, but being Welsh - I'd like to try the Celts.

4 is about as many as I want to play with, so if you four guys are up for a game we should set one up.

BTW Panzer, have you read the other threads regarding firewalls. With a little reconfiguring you should be able to play. I have a hardware Firewall and I was able to join an internet game no probs. Hosting behind a firewall is more difficult though - still haven't managed to do that on Gamespy, but I have hosted a Direct IP game.

ok I'm in. When would people be able to play their turns? About 16-22:00 on weekdays is good for me on weekdays. On weekends and during the Christmas break, anytime is good.

Where's Gasper?
During Christmas break I can play at anytime.
I check my mail several times a day and it wouldn't be a problem to play at least one turn per day.

We should get hold of a moderator, ideally to start the game off for us, but also to hold our game passwords incase anyone wants to jump ship, we can then get a replacement.

For this game I suggest we stay with the default settings of:

Game Type: PBEM
Game Mode: Standard
Turn Timer: Slow
World Size: Standard
Barbarian Activity: Roaming
Land Mass: Continents
Water Coverage: 70%
Climate: Normal
Temperature: Temperate
Age: 4 Billion
Difficulty: Regent

No AI

Game Rules:

Allow Conquest Victory
Preserve Random Seed

Anyone want any changes to these rules let me know. I have just gone with the defaults, Any other preferred victory conditions can be added if required.

OK. Lets call it "Dawn of Time" which we can abbreviate to "DoT".

Anyone out there reading this willing to moderate?

Hope Gasper comes back to is soon. As soon as I hear from Gasper and / or a moderator we can start.

When the game starts we should set up a turn progress thread, through which we can keep each other informed of when we pass on the turn.

I have PM's Gasper twice and emailed once - no reply. He / She is playing in a new PBEM game anyway.

Gasper is in this game

Wondered if you wanted a fourth player, or should we go with just the three of us?

A moderator hasn't stepped forward either, so I am prepared to setup a game. As this is my first PTW PBEM it'll be a learning curve thing for me at least.

We so far have three players I suggest the sequence (because of time zones) should be

ColDark - The English
Pggar - The Indians
Panzer 32 - The Chinese

The three of us is fine by me.
This is my first game as well and I'm anxious to play.
I should be home in about 8h and I'll play the game as soon as I get it.
