No one has really responded to the idea, but why don;t we share luxury info? At least in piecemeal?

Realistically it's totally irrelevant, and the second we meet anyone it'll be known anyway...

And, it's a reasonable bit of knowledge to ask for... if a civ has a *different* lux in excess, we'd like to meet them in-game.

Having struggled with ways to initiate diplo relations, I think this is safe.

Well... I like it. If we find someone who has access to, or thinks he soon has access to a furs or incense, we know they are close. Plus, it could make it possible to piece together information of who is close to whom.

Okay, time to get this thread on top again: we still need to reply to GodKing on their proposal to send minimaps. Are we agreed that we ask them what kind of lux they have access to, and say sorry on the minimap?

Given our new situation, this might change. But I think that if we want to keep a polite image towards RPG, we should answer them soon... I propose to do it by tomorrow noon (somewhere around 12 GMT, when I get out of bed)

How about adding a "who have you contacted yet" exchange to that deal, while we know it is likely that either RP or NeuDemogyptica contacted Vox. I think it's safe to tell them that we have made contact in the game, and afterwards share that information- and i'm sure you all realize the benefits for such knowledge.

Okay, I just contacted GodKing, with a rather long message. I'll be posting it in a separate thread once I received confirmation that I can quote it...

Could all other ambassadors (except Mss for Vox, of course), contact their teams, and report here so we know who we miss?

So far, both RPG and legoland have been contacted by me.

Since noone responded to this, I tought i might bring it up again.

When we get all minimaps, we will have a good idea on who contacted who, but it could be usefull.

Alva, I think it's okay. Maybe good to include in a second e-mail, once we know which minimap we get. Now that we are sharing minimaps, any information on where the civs are with whom we haven't shared it yet is good to us. I don't mind trading other info, it this mean we will get a more complete picture of the political world.

BTW, the same thing applies: if we don't do it, there is no reason for Vox to not do it either... so it's better if we gain from it instead of them.

Oh, Next thing I'm going to ask to RPG and to legoland is what lux they hope to get / have already.
