Hope this helped, ct!

Darn, I forgot about the diamond shape at the bottom (Freeciv has this too). Oh well, who needs an extra wheel anyway?

Tired of ads?

Say, I'm remodelling a Cold War European scen right now and plan to set East and West Berlin as two separate cities with one space between them. Could someone please craft me a Berlin Wall unit to fill that space, if you could? Thanks!

IŽd be looking for a MH-60 Blackhawk and a MH-6 Little Bird and a standard US Army 5ton Truck, preferrably fairline style ... anyone has those units to spare for me?

I was doing a little pondering about it myself. Originally I thought that the streets were sea and the Blackhawks transports, but that wouldn't work. Maybe you could make the streets ground terrain, the Blackhawks tranports with the paratrooper capability, and using airbases in safe locations as "LZs". The crash sites could be simulated by cities, far away enough to be unreachable by MH-60s. The lLittle Birds as fighter units, and the trucks just used to represent the captured Somalis. With your skills, I'm sure you could make a great scenario

Rambling aside, here is an updated J-8II Finback, modified from tanelorn. A flying turd to start with, it was made worse when rendered into Civ by me

Hey all, just thought I'd say thanks for all the wonderful units you guys have put together. Some of us have literally zero aptitude when it comes to that kind of thing, so we gladly bask in the trickle down of your collective works!

I do have one question though, for the military buffs here. Don't worry, it's not a unit request, and I'm not too hopeful of a positive answer, it is a pretty obscure request...

Does anyone have any idea of, or access to any sources on, the current (or recent, say since '91?) composition of the Angolan Air Force and Navy? (I'm of course refering to the Government, not rebel forces) Or does anyone know somewhere where some people might know (ie: another forum?). I'm working on a scenario for a naval game, and can't seem to find any sources on it (barring Janes, but of course few can fork out for it...) Any help would be most appreciated.

If this can help you, I did fork out once for a Jane, but it's probably one from the end of the 80s or beginning of the 90s! If this can help, pm me about what you want me look up in it!

Try, http://orbat.com/site/air_orbats/orbats/angola.pdf but it does state "Order of Battle unknown". www.iss.org.za/AF/profiles/Angola/SecInfo.html is also worth a read (the ISS site is probably the best source of info on Sub Saharan African military affairs).

There's a copy of the most recent edition of Janes World Airforces in my local library. I'll check this info for you when I'm next there (which will probably be next week).

@typhoon, I don't mean to stickle, but I need the diagonal in the opposite direction (southwest to northeast, I think I said). Currently, it looks like an elevated tram between the two cities. Sorry to be an annoyance, cut could I please get one properly oriented. Thanks!

Thanks a lot, Typhoon! Come to think of it, though, on the note of my metaphor of the other wall's orientation, a set of elevated tramways in the railroad slot might be somewhat attractive for a post- modern scen. Something to consider.
