well, yeah, but that's not a challenge anymore, and therefore no fun, so even less motivation to finish. But it's quite a vicious circle, or whatever it's called in English, cause whenever you want more, it becomes less feasible. Oh well, that's the fun of civ2, look how much more is possible now that 5-6 years ago.

hmm, well, maybe, but there are tons of them, some almost finished, some in its very early stages.

I have had the pleasure of playing a lot of well designed and polished scenarios in Civ2.
As you know, new discoveries into Civ2's mechanics as well as new artwork has given us some excellent and highly playable scenarios.
For many scenario creators and artists it is the time period and history that motivates their creative fire.
It is too bad that Civ2's limitations has turned you off creating anymore scenarios.
I think this was the reason why Captain Nemo stopped working on scenarios.
This is the Civ2 community's great loss.
Even given Civ2's age and limitations, it is a game that is still so flexible and adaptable that it can be used to create a scenario about any time period in history or into the future; one is only limited by one's imagination.
And it is still capable of doing far, far more, then most of the newer games out today...
Cheers!
