The Purple Raiders of Mount Union College (Alliance, Ohio) are playing for the national championship tomorrow at noon on ESPN2. The Division III national championship, that is.

Their current win streak is 41 games and they've win 5 of the last 6 championships (they missed 1999.) They have won 95 of their last 96 games.

You wanna talk about bad? My teams opponent is falling apart so completely, there's not even a line offered on the game - for the Sugar Bowl no less!!! Now FSU is looking at gambling investigations, launched by the very QB who stole a blank.

Yes it did, you just fail to read carefully. The bowls aren't part of the regular season, and you want the regular season to matter. So who cares who wins the bowls. After all, the sanctity of the regular season should be upheld! We don't need these pseudo-playoffs deciding our champion!

True, but my team is playing for #2* against a FSU team that resembles nothing like the FSU of old. I don't know whether to be worried or cocky. I hope Richt just lights it up to the old man, but...

*Rooting to come in second is kind of cheesy, but #2 is a hell of a lot better than we could've reasonably expected back in August.
