	Membership for Skywalker? Increase Your PM Length

Skywalker wishes to join our ranks. Should we accept him in?

A word from Skywalker
I asked Skywalker to write a short passage to put up on the poll thread. Here it is, untouched:

Vote Abstain if you have no opinion on the matter or don't care.

If after 48 hours there are no votes for Black, and assuming that a reasonable number of people vote White or Abstain, then Skywalker will be granted entrance to the team. A single Black vote would deny entry.

Voted abstain... I don't know him as I haven't played the DGs, only from some positive critism on the CB forum. I guess that makes him at least a far connaisance, but it's not up to me to really want him in. It certainly is no reason to want him out

He was very active in the Civ3 demogame, as he said, "loud". He switched parties thrice in a couple of weeks, messed up turnchats by behaving like a nine years old, and overall didn't leave a trustworthy opinion. Sorry, but my orb is black.

I remember all of that too and was lurking in a turnchat where is behaviour was actively disruptive and immature. My orb is also black.

He's probably a nice kid, but....

I am sorry, but glad I am not the only one. This is one of those cases that this system is meant to address. My heart sank when I saw the poll.

Nothing directly personal mind you, but I have found that he comes across as disruptive and unconstructive.

It sucks having to say no, but sometimes it is the right thing to do.

I did not see this before there was a black ball already.

I would have been torn between wanting to give a young guy a chance on the one hand, and protecting the team on the other. If I were to make a mistake, I most likely would have erred on the side of protecting the team in this case.

I remember asking him some advice in PM since he had posted something interesting and he was rude, i'll vote black, sorry.

Seems like other people dont mind him too much either since there was already 5 black balls before my vote.

That's probably a long shot; flash and skywalker don't really seem to have the maturity to "put it behind them". I think we can safely expect some animosity from them. All we can really hope is that they don't weld to much power in that group

That's certainly a good sign for our relations. Not only is flash not there, but the people are (perhaps, who knows why he left) such that they don't what someone like him on their team.

Aha... well, that would be a flash thing to do, start a fight with Ming. So maybe he'll return to the Vox team, then (he's not a member anymore, I doubt that if it is just the ban, he would get his name erased from the memberlist)

He is still a member of Vox, but when you're banned you are removed from all member lists, even the big site-wide member list.
Whenever Alexander's Horse is banned he disappears from the "Top 20 posters" screen.
