No, it will not.
The Reactor accidents in Soviet Union and the US gave our nuclear people a lot of information about the spread of contamination. The same info can be use in dropping a nuc. If you know the wind current and speed, you can predict where the fallout is going and how many people will die in a given area. An air blast is the most dangers in that it will spread farther and more people die. A ground blast will not spead very far. Also it depends on the size of the warhead. The bigger the warhead the more damage it will do. Most warhead today are kiloton warhead. There are still some megaton warhead around but I don't know if any are located on missile.
The US is starting to decommission its 50 Peacekeeper missile and they will be gone in about a year. They were our biggest missile. |
Maybe some people would survive the nuclear war, but billions upon billions would die, and only a few million would be left around, mankind would be near its end I say if a nuclear war did break out. Even if one survived the intial blasts, the after effects would kill billions more.

I think that nukes will most likely not be used any time in near future. Only time I can see them being used is when the nation using them know the target nation cant strike back.
