Since Flash apparently left, replacing him wont break the "6 players" agreement.

And what about mazzz? Can someone kick him out of the group. It's annoying that he has the V thingie while not being a member.

I concur, I believe it is best if we remain small....

Depending on how everyone else feels, I suggest replying back to him letting him know that membership into Vox Controli is currently closed to new members.

To be honest with you... I hope he doesnt return. Skywalker is a great and active user who can spell, does not annoy everyone and does not get banned twice a day.

Flash doesn't show up on the team list anymore. What happened to him? I know he was banned, but his name still should show up. Did he leave the group?

I'm OK with new members. But I am wary of course- although paranoid might be a better word. They could be friends with someone on another team.

And like I said earlier I was OK with raising our team up to 7. But no more. I do like to have an odd number, but I don't think it's a big deal. We rarely have to use a tie breaker anyways.

Eli seems to know his posting habits a bit. So if Eli can vouch for him, I'm OK with it.

Although I didn't realize spelling was a requirement for this team .

and flash did leave (I wonder why? hopefully not because of Eli)

it must have happened recently, because I never noticed the drop down to 5 (if anyone can inform me please do) (it is back up to 6 because of skywalker)

I will try communicating with the 3 come Jan 4 or 5

will move us up to over 5 active members (a good thing)

negs-

without flash moves us to even number of actives

joining after game is in swing

keeping small makes it so that all our members are active (Well, but the banned ones)

being small allows us to always come to a consensus

Sorry I didn't check here earlier - was playing - yes - Civ3 - and then watching Minority Report. Not bad.

Regarding team expansion and skywalker, may I suggest you check this thread , page 4.

Now my sense is that panag can get in people's faces - he and Shiber were going at it like cats and dogs recently - but it still takes two to tangle.

I, too, am concerned about team dynamics. It seems to working great now. Lots of views, but everybody gets along.

As Diss has said, if Eli has vouched for skywalker, that puts him a notch up in my book. But that nonsense in the other thread. Well...

I also acknowledge Diss' wariness - but I'm sure another team wouldn't pull a stunt like that.

So - I go with jon's view. And for that matter, as Flash is pretty inactive anyway, I say we could let him in now. Just read him the team rules, jon.

Incidentally, I took over a pbem game that Flash was involved in - actually he started it. Eli is also in the game. So maybe Flash is sitting back for awhile.

Why would he first try to get on a team that has Velocyrix, Theseus, DeepO and the like on it, when he could have us??

Gathering Storm ehh. Now when did he put in this application? I can't help but notice the timing coincides with our meeting of Gathering Storm in the PTW democracy game. But again I'm being paranoid.

So did he make this request before GS played their turn in 3050BC in which they moved their warrior in sight of ours? Actually if they were on a hill they may have seen our unit in 3100 BC.

I guess we are OK though. He only requested it 2 days ago. Not enough time to earn their trust and be recruited as a spy.

I'm not vouching for him. I just did a quick search of his recent posts and profile and he looks like a relatively sensible guy. I support the 6 players agreement, and the only reason I want him in is because we have 5.

I don't know if we should be too worried about his trying to join GS. If you look at their thread, there was quite a stampede to join that team. It is fairly large, I figured they just capped the membership.

I would still like to know how much he knows about civ3.

Maybe we should put this to a vote. Then it will be anonymous, and we will know for sure.

I saw a post in the pbem forum by Mazz or I guess its Mazzz. My sense is that he is not that familiar with civ3.

To me - only question is about admitting skywalker. He has a lot of posts, many of which I have read - but most of it is role play stuff.
