Yeah, the last semester, went OK (just OK, not much more...!) It's a lot harder than expected. I'm studying physics at Laval University, in Québec City. It's hard, but I like it!

Kon: was this your first semester?? I just finished mine. It was harder than I thought too. I'm at the University of Missouri-Columbia (a.k.a. Mizzou). I'm into Comp. Engineering and Comp. Science.

BTW, did Ducki get a warrior or money or a tech? What gives you an extra 3 points?

To Ducki, who has more points because he has more happy people. Score is not influenced by gold, units, techs, wonders, or anything else besides happy/content/specialist citizens, territory, difficulty level, and date of finish.

BRC - In my experience, for talent to outweigh work ethic, talent must border on genius, and even then, dependability will eventually win out.
I've seen a lot of brilliant people fired/laid-off/passed-over in favor of someone less talented but more dependable, hard-working, and congenial.

It sucks that politics is more important than results, but that's life.

Sorry guys. My internet was out for the past few hours.

OK. We have 2 problems.

1) The save you sent me was still the beginning of your turn.

2) No matter how I load that save, it says that we are at Chieftain. I know for a fact that it wasn't that way last time I saw it. I will wait until I hear from you guys. Thanks.

On the "beginning of your turn" thing, when I get the save from Dave, the popup telling me what the game is (difficulty, year, etc.) it always says Dave's civ info, but when I click through that, it pops up again and says "Ducki, it's your turn."

Possibly this is the problem?

OK. Here's the really big problem. The last save Kon sent me isn't even our game. Kon, are you in another PBEM game, and is there a chance that you sent me that SAVE.

Yes, maybe. I replayed my turn, saved it in a new folder and named it kontobrc.sav, which is a pretty explicit name... Everything should come back to normal... Sent to BRC...
