A NEW ERA BEGINS 
Many stories have been told about the heroic acts that our soldiers performed during the great patriotic war, 25 years ago. Uncountable russian citizens gave their lives for their motherland in the holy war against the evil nazi Germany.
Certainly, nobody will write new stories about the recent actions that took place once again in russian soil…
Guided by an irresponsible and mediocre leadership, the Soviet Union dug its own grave… and it was finally burnt to ashes.
The lives of countless inocent people ceased to exist during the combined US-NATO-Chinese-SEATO attacks. Military speaking, the entire soviet defense system collapsed. Economically speaking, the economy is facing bankruptcy
Chaos rules the country… but chaos also gives an opportunity. An opportunity to change and rise once again.
In the face of the foreign invasion, morale in the USSR millitary falls tremendously as the common soldiers remember the unhuman treat received during more than 2 decades of Cold War… thousands of soldiers leave the battlefields and return to their home cities to support the people and begin a new revolution...
Riots break out all over the country. Police don´t dare to challenge the crowd… not anymore… it´s time to join them… it´s time to change Russia.
Lenin, Stalin and Marx statues and other soviet era monuments fell everywhere; the Kremlin is sacked and burnt.
People of the free world!!! Listen carefully!!!
The Soviet Union no longer exists. A new democratic government took command of Russia.
Russia will rise again!! It will take time, we know it… but it will happen.
Let´s make this clear:
Western world people, we won´t thank you for what you did in Russia. We don´t appreciate that you merciless killed millions of innocent russians. We owe you nothing.
However, we also like to point out that we are no longer the “Evil Empire” that hates democracy, capitalism, human rights and that other bullshit you said.
Our goal is to become an independent actor in the international community theater. That´s all.
Now Russia must rest, lick its own wounds and grow once again.
Believe us… the russian bear isn´t dead

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
After analyzing the results of a soviet and a NATO/USA first strike in different tests, i came to the conclusion that we must do something to prevent these "unrealistic results" of nuclear warfare.
I mean, it´s obvious that in a turn-based game (and in the case of a nuclear war) we face the problem of "the one who strikes first wins / has a considerable advantage"
Because, if you are able to destroy between 90-100% of the nuclear forces of your enemy, you can prevent a nuclear counterattack. AND THAT´S WHAT HAPPENED HERE
Some of you may remember my original idea of the "ICBM Regeneration"
The command is simple.
Example:
If "USA ICBM" destroyed by "ANYBODY"
THEN Create "USA ICBM" in "a specific location" (i´ll give you 5 or 6 possibilities)
So, in case of a soviet attack, all the ICBMs destroyed by the soviets, will "magically" appear again in the american soil.
In other words, the construction of the missile implies its use.
Why should we use this?
Because in real life, the nuclear responce would happen while the emeny nukes were in the air.
That´s because the player that suffered the attack, MUST HAVE A CHANCE TO RESPOND!!!!!
These were the options i proposed some months ago:
"Civ2 turn based game style" (no possibility of "nukes in the air") VS. "Real life situation" (MAD)
That time, we chose to go on with the current situation, with the same rules...
Time went on... i personally believe that we should test the other idea.
Remember this guys:
Nuclear responce would happen while the emeny nukes were in the air
MAD was a real possibility. We should recreate that in a cold war game
Benefit for a first strike (nukes+conventional warfare), but also a retaliation. THIS IS NUCLEAR WARFARE!!! Remember, no winners in a nuclear war
NO WINNERS IN A NUCLEAR WAR!!!!!!
Nuclear War shouldn´t be the first option, but the last one. Ok?
Players should understand the implication of using their nuclear arsenals This time it won´t be so easy, so simple.... EVERYBODY MUST SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES OF A NUCLEAR WAR!!!
One more thing:
Sorry guys, but i´m not asking for your opinion this time.
Some tests took place in one pbem in civfanatics, and it worked fine. That´s why i wanna go on with the tests, ok?

USSR Defeated, Russian Republic Created!
WASHINGTON- The Soviet Union was defeated by the Great Union between Nato, USA and China and SEATO. This great victory over a tyranny goverment was easily won, as the Communists began begging for Mercy. The Congress has showed its Proposed Terms over the defeated USSR, to the New Republic.

Considering SEATO did no real fighting, this seems awfully generous...AWFULLY.
