Sorry my email was so strange. I'll try to take more time and express myself better in the future. I don't know what happened to the attachment. No harm done I guess.

I was trying to say that I felt badly about the way the event played out. I got so many techs for practically nothing that it was almost an exploit. My point was that such a one-sided set of trades would never happen in an all-human game.

in short, it was another demonstration that you guys are lots smarter than the ai civs

Not at all. I should have said what I meant better. Its a problem for me in that I seem to think people are psychic and will automatically understand what I'm talking about. I meant that it's strange that your emails seem to get lost somewhere.

Your email message was clear. You took what the AI offered. So would we all. I dont know about you guys, but I wanted the AI in this first game as a buffer between the human players. I didnt want the game to degenerate into an early wargame (as the online games tend to do). Does it seem to you that the AI is much weaker in PBEM?

There are definitely no deity ai civs over here on this continent. They may be monarch level but they don't act like it.
