What's about German antisemitism - sure it exists, it's also a problem over here in Austria although I haven't heard of any physical attacks on jews in any form. Antisemitism is very much lived "behind the doors" and don't tell me there are no anti-semits in the US. The attacks on synagogues in France are mainly because of Islamistic attacks, not commited by "French".
You don't find cases of policemen in Germany who act brutally in a racist way, like it happens quite often in the US, so don't judge from the high seat just becasue you don't like Germany's/France's stance on the Iraq crises.

Some thoughts:
To those who think it is harmless, and to those who would think that it "couldn't happen here", I suggest you read about the Classroom experiment called The Wave, and then tell me such role playing can't be harmful.

Antisemitism and bigotry in general can happen anywhere. It's easy to spot it when it labels itself "Nazi" or "Nazi vs. Jew game". It's harder to spot when it doesn't.

Hurricane, yep, but they also had those signs and arm bands.. that shows VERY bad taste. It's another thing to play Nazis and Jews and chase each other just the sake of it, and another thing to have equipment for it.

If anyone has yet to see the Pianist, I highly recommend it. It is set in Warsaw and spans the entire war. We all know what happened there. But still, the images of a German officer, seemingly for no reason at all, randomly picking a number of Jews from a work detail, forcing them to lie face down, and then, one-by-one, shooting them in the back of the head, is indescribably disturbing.
