I don`t understand what you`re saying other than it being an accusation. What does Apolyton's ads have to do with anything?

I`ve posted the AARs here because some Apolyton members can`t visit IGMOO. The AARs are not 'stolen'.

actually, if you havent recieved permission from Pezman or Chantz ( like i did for use on my site ) then yes, they are stolen... and you could be looking at a lawsuit...

for posting them anyway. It looks as though it could turn out pretty well after all.

to those objecting. If they evoke enough interest to generate as much as an extra sale or two then they're a positive influence - wherever they're posted. As for being "stolen" - maybe those concerned would be better advised to put their efforts into quashing pirated versions of the software rather than copied AAR's.

There's an easy solution - ask if you can repost them first. It's polite and it's correct. I'm sure that the IG folks wouldn't mind one bit - the policy on viewing their forums has more to do with limiting the yahoos that come there and post random crap than it does securing any kind of intellectual property.

You cannot "steal" words and ideas, as the original "owner" still has them after you take them.

Don't let the media propaganda influence your vocabulary please. They want to label everyone as "pirate" and "thief" who makes use of his rights, thus branding innocent people as criminals. Why do you think they chose these highly emotional phrases? To evoke psychological reactions.

This here is a case of unlicensed private copying with no economic harm done. A few years ago, before the industry started their propaganda war, nobody would even have cared.

Well I appreciate the effort and the spirit you did it in. I can't access the IG forums not because of my company outlook email account but because the IG forums take 5 minutes to draw each page for some fathomless reason. Sorry you got hassle from some sad F*** who just seems to want to play internet policeman to secure more hits for his own site.

If IG/QS had a problem with the AAR's being posted here, they'd inform the website owners and Markos or Dan would take appropriate action. The fact that they're delighted enough to give Dan a copy of the game to preview strongly indicates otherwise.
