Still not getting through to StSwf. The fail message said something about recipient is over quota and permanent fatal error. I guess this means he is off line for some reason so we are stuck until he gets it sorted.

I guess the thing to do is to try to recruit a new player to take StSwf's turn. I dont know if he has used a password though. If he has we're screwed I think. I can eliminate him as the administrator but I dont know if I can bypass his password. In any case he's my partner so I'd see where he is. I guess we could change partners since its unlikely anyone has met yet.

I start a new job on the 3rd of March and it will keep me away from home Sunday evenings to Wednesday evenings. That means I won't be at my computer at all on Mondays or Tuesdays. If I play my turn on Sunday afternoon, however, this probably won't mean much of a delay for other people because we have six players and it usually takes a couple of days for my turn to come around again anyway. Sorry about this. I'm hoping to get a transfer in September that will allow me to work in this county.

I had an email from Anatolia. Unfortunately the computer the school he is working at gave him is barely up to reading email and not up to playing PTW. Unless/until he gets a laptop he seems to be stuck with mostly playing at weekends. Hopefully he will get to his turn tomorrow.

Not at all. I dont play MP at all since they are mostly just wargames. CIV is a crappy wargame so I dont play them.

I've played CIV since it first came out and I was expecting a better game with CIV3. I waited through 5 CIV3 patches and now 2 PtW patches for things to improve. It hasnt.

I would recommend CIV3 and PtW as a strategy game to someone who had never played anything like it but not to an experienced player of such games.

IMO, Sid Meier and Firaxis have let down a large community of fans with shoddy game ideas and implementation.
