You know you are playing right into our trap. With the advent of Gorbachev and since then, you have fed yourself with our lies. Now, just because you perceive our ineptness in affairs(particularly military), doesn't mean that's the case. We have our reasons for everything, including the collapse of the Soviet Union and that incident regarding Chechnya in '94.

Everything has a price, even if that includes us "Breaking with the Past" to Rebuild For The Future.

Over 15,000.

Stalin is misunderstood. By now, everyone should realize that without Stalin's foresight, Slavic peoples would have ceased to exist. The "Great Purges" and "Great Famines of Collectivization" are all blown out of proportion, thanks to the Hearst press and the likes of Conquest and Solzhenitsyn. All of the above were either fascists, nazi sympathizers, staunch anti-Communists or the total package.

As for Mao, well, I myself don't agree with any of his policies. He was too independent of anyone. He should have continued with Stalin's policies. This way, he would have industrialized China and saved millions of lives without his bumbling failures in domestic policies.
